2.2 Health & Fitness Data (Sensitive Data)

- Biometric data, such as heart rate, if connected via wearable
- Progress and training history
Important:
- This data is treated as sensitive personal information.
- We only collect it to provide core app functionality, including tracking, insights, and recommendations.
- We do not sell health data.

We may collect location data when you enable it:
- Precise location for activity tracking, such as runs or walks
- Approximate location for analytics or app optimization

We only access data you explicitly authorize.

We do not share this data back to third parties without your consent.
2.6 Optional Meal Photos and AI Nutrition Estimates
When you choose Photo estimate, take a meal photo, and submit it for analysis, we process that photo for the one estimate you requested. This feature is optional; you can describe, search for, scan, or add food manually without sharing a photo.
- The photo is sent securely to Google Cloud Vertex AI for food recognition. Google may process it under Google Cloud service terms and applicable abuse-monitoring practices.
- We do not attach the photo to your account or saved meal, and we do not keep it as a persistent application record. Our app and services hold image bytes only for validation, transfer, analysis, and a user-requested transient retry. A normalized retry copy may remain only in the app's volatile memory for up to two minutes while the photo screen stays open.
- Recognized food terms may be sent as text-only searches to configured nutrition-data providers, currently the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Open Food Facts, to find nutrition information. Those providers do not receive the photo, your account identifier, the photo request identifier, or free-form notes.
- A saved meal contains only the food names, portions, nutrition values, confidence indicators, and provider references that you review and choose to save. It does not contain the photo, its filename or metadata, the AI prompt, or the raw AI response.
AI food recognition and portion estimates can be wrong. Review every item and amount before saving, particularly if nutrition information affects a health decision. Photo estimate is not medical advice.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the App
- Track workouts and fitness progress
- Generate insights, analytics, and recommendations
- Personalize your experience
- Sync data across devices and integrations
- Process payments through third-party providers
- Communicate with you, including updates, support, and marketing if opted in

6. Data Retention
We retain your data:
- For as long as your account is active
- As needed to provide services

Meal-photo image bytes are transient and are not retained as an account or meal record by our application. To enforce limits, prevent duplicate processing, and investigate service reliability without retaining food details, we may keep a restricted audit record containing a random request identifier, timestamps, fixed outcome codes, model alias, duration, item count, confidence bands, provider identifiers, and a coarse image-dimension bucket. Audit records are assigned an expiry 30 days after creation, and daily usage counters are assigned an expiry seven days after creation. Automated database deletion is not immediate, so an expired record may remain briefly while deletion is processed, typically within about 24 hours. These records do not contain the image, filename, image metadata, food labels or names, prompt, raw model output, or user notes.
When you delete your account, personal data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30–90 days unless legally required otherwise.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
